Venue Terms

Last updated 10 July 2026. Draft for product use — not legal advice. England & Wales.

Agreement

By registering a venue on Crueue you agree to these Venue Terms, the Platform Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation & No-Show Policy. Contact: [email protected]. Draft — not legal advice. Law of England and Wales.

Marketplace role

Crueue is a marketplace that introduces independent solo-trader hospitality professionals to your venue and facilitates booking and payment. Workers provide shift services to you under their own engagement with you; Crueue does not employ them and does not supply “its workers” as an employment agency hiring out staff.

You remain responsible for the workplace: health and safety, equipment, supervision on premises, and lawful instructions during the shift. You must not ask workers to work without right-to-work clearance completed through Crueue’s process where we require it as a platform eligibility check before assignment.

Agency Workers Regulations and similar rules can be fact-specific. These terms do not determine AWR status. Take your own advice on any obligations that may arise from how you use introduced workers on your premises.

Fees and payment

For each confirmed shift you pay through the platform: (1) the worker’s agreed rate (their charge/invoice for services to your venue), and (2) Crueue’s platform fee for marketplace fulfilment — typically 20% of the worker’s agreed rate (unless a written promotion says otherwise). Workers keep 100% of their agreed rate; the platform fee is Crueue’s charge to you, not a deduction from the worker as wages.

You authorise Crueue to store a payment method on file via Stripe and to charge for confirmed shift fulfilment (worker remuneration facilitated via Stripe Connect plus platform fee) and applicable cancellation fees. Failed payments may result in suspended posting rights and collection steps.

Invoices and receipts for marketplace charges are issued via Stripe (hosted payment receipts to the venue) and downloadable PDFs in the Crueue app. You must keep billing details accurate.

Cancellations and quality

Cancellation fees and any worker cancellation amounts follow the Cancellation & No-Show Policy (marketplace facilitation rules, not employment sanctions).

Rate workers fairly and truthfully. Do not discriminate unlawfully. Off-platform hiring of workers introduced via Crueue may be restricted by separate commercial terms if we notify you (for example a time-limited introduction fee); if no separate clause is signed, act in good faith and do not systematically bypass platform fees.

Liability on premises

You are responsible for incidents arising from your premises, equipment, and management of the shift, except to the extent caused by Crueue’s negligence. Workers are responsible for their own conduct as independent service providers. Crueue’s platform liability limits in the Platform Terms apply.
