Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Last updated 10 July 2026. Draft for product use — not legal advice. England & Wales.
About this policy
This is Crueue’s published marketplace policy for cancellations and no-shows. It sets participation rules and fee consequences between venues, workers, and the platform for bookings facilitated through Crueue — not employment discipline. Some enforcement may be manual while product automation catches up. Contact: [email protected]. Draft for operational clarity — not legal advice.
Worker-side cancellation
More than 24 hours’ notice: no reliability penalty; shift may be re-released on the marketplace.
6–24 hours’ notice: reliability score reduced (typically −5); notation may appear on your profile history.
2–6 hours’ notice: larger reliability impact (typically −10); urgent re-fill process.
Less than 2 hours / on-the-day cancellation: significant reliability impact (typically −15); possible tier review; venue may receive a credit of about 50% of the platform fee.
No-show (no contact): severe reliability impact (typically −25); platform fee generally refunded to the venue; account review for removal from the marketplace. A no-show is failing to attend a booked shift without cancelling in time (including within roughly 2 hours of start without contact).
Venue-side cancellation
More than 24 hours’ notice: no cancellation charge; worker notified; booking cancelled.
6–24 hours’ notice: cancellation fee of 50% of the platform fee.
Less than 6 hours’ notice: 100% of the platform fee charged; if the worker is already en route, the worker may receive an amount equal to 2 hours at their agreed rate as facilitated cancellation compensation.
On-the-day cancellation after the worker is already en route: the worker may receive an amount equal to full shift pay at their agreed rate as determined by Crueue ops; disputes are handled case-by-case.
How to cancel
Workers and venues should cancel via the app/dashboard where available, or by contacting Crueue promptly so we can help re-fill. Late notice by phone/message still counts as notice from when we receive it.
Charges are taken from the venue’s card-on-file where configured. Reliability updates may apply immediately or in batch.
